Omolola (Lola) O. Akinnodi, DNP, FNP-BC, is a full-time Doctor of Nursing Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Brashear Family Medical. Dr. Akinnodi has a wide variety of training in mental health, health promotion and education, as well primary care and women’s health, including long-term injectable contraceptives. She is Board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and she received her Bachelors of Nursing from East Tennessee State University, Johnson City and her Doctorate from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Akinnodi was born and partly raised in Nigeria, and in her free time, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, and spending time with her husband.
